Gamenamics 9-Foot Shuffleboard Table

Good price, but the quality was not what I expected. It did not appear to be professionally made or assembled. Product returned.

I purchased the Gamenamics 10' shuffleboard table in April 2009. The shuffleboard table has a classic, beautiful look; resembling higher priced tournament tables. My excitement for the table was quickly dashed when delivery of the table revealed scratches, blemishes and nicks in the finished woodwork. It was obvious that this was not delivery damage but imperfections in the assembly and quality of the product. The scoreboard assembly came with mounting bolts that were too short to pass through the mounting bracket so a trip to the hardware store was required. After two months of ownership, the circular scoreboard developed a ¼ inch crack. Four months into ownership we began to notice the sides of the 1 ½" solid oak playing surface was beginning to curl upwards. This warping has worsened to the point where the game is now rendered useless. The warped sides always slide the puck to the center of the playing surface defeating the strategy of the shuffleboard game. I allowed a few months to pass in order to see the oak playing top would settle on its own but it has only worsened. Today I called Gamenamics to discuss the defects of their product. The customer service spokesperson immediately stated that there was nothing they could do to remedy the problem. It is apparent that Gamenamics does not value their customers or stand by their products as evident by their lack of customer service or concern. In addition, warning bells should have gone off when Gamenamics only offers a 90 day limited warranty for the 1 ½" solid oak playing surface that they advertise as "premium Canadian Maple play-field for durability and long life". I guess Gamenamics considers 90 days a long life...

My advice to the consumer is simple; stay clear of purchasing Gamenamics products. They entice you with reasonable prices but the workmanship and quality of their products are inferior. Trust me when I tell you; if you purchase from Gamenamics, your frustration will greatly outlast the life of their poorly built products.

This table has been great. We have had a few parties already, and everybody loves to play.
