We enjoyed the game, but playing with a group of 3 people we went through 50 of the 500 "famous lines" in a single game. For the price, I would have expected more "famous lines". The cards and parts are durable, but I fear playing this game too many times would quickly exhaust all the questions.

It seems that in this wonderfully creative game there is something for all ages. Whether it is a timeless quote from a song everyone remembers to a line from a Disney movie; everyone will fall in love with it. It's like a game you've played all your life, but just discovered.

The best thing in life . . .? "I'll make him and offer . . .? If at first you don't succeed . . .? Jack Sprat could eat no fat . . .? If you can't stand the heat . . .? Think you can finish the lines, and then you are ready to play Finish Lines and have as much fun as I did.

Following the easy directions I was up and playing in minutes of opening the box. One thing to keep in mind is that there are small wooden tile, so you need to keep that small children away from the game.

Within 5 categories you have to finish the lines to collect tiles and fill up your space, first one to do this is the winner. You have lines from music, TV, speeches, proverbs and even books. There are 500 cards and the game plays fairly quickly, one thing is that the limited amount of cards will have you repeating some cards in a short amount of time.

I found that I was able to complete the game in about 30 to 45 minutes and you can have up to 6 players and the more the merrier. While the game is made for teenager to adult, some of the phrases will give the younger crowd a little trouble, but that's the fun of the game. Also I found that team play or men vs. women adds a whole new twist to the game.

Overall this was great party or family game and is made for just about any occasion. I certainly hope that there is additional card sets as I can see this game doing very well.

When I first saw Finish Lines in the store, I thought, "Why hadn't anyone thought of this before?" What a GREAT concept!

I have played this game with family and friends and it is very addicting, in a good way.

We had hours and hours of fun and you never get tired of this game.

As compared to other "mind" games, this one beats them all!

I do hope the manufacturer continues to make more question cards, so we can continue playing this game for many more years.

Great job!! With the holidays coming up, Finish Lines would make a great gift.

This is great fun for the whole family. Every time we get together, my family always says, "Bring Finish Line." We make the players sing the song answers. This is a great test to see just how well you paid attention in school, and in life. Can't wait to get the new booster pack of cards! If you like game night, this is a MUST HAVE!

This is a great game to play with large groups of people. We played it with about 20 women and it was hysterical! It was so funny listening to people sing entire songs, quote huge passages of novels, and recite long movie excerpts just to come up with the very next line. Once you get started, you just can't stop. It's amazing how much you remember after so many years!

This game offers a lot of flexibility. Spouses can read the cards back and forth to each other. Large groups can split into teams. We've played it with 2-player teams and with men vs. women. The women have won every time! Each time it has been played at parties, the group has laughed all night. Finish Lines makes one realize how many quotes you might not remember just right and how much obscure knowledge you have tucked away. The categories are varied enough that everyone has a shot.

Finish Lines was the best Christmas gift I received and since then it has turned into my family's new favorite game. The first few times we laughed so much that we hardly played and now we manage to complete lines (or attempt to) in between the joking. Finish Lines is a clever game that offers topics for everyone. You learn while you're having fun and the quality time spent always goes by quickly.

Fun for all ages! You can gaurantee laughter as everyone tries to recall famous movie lines, songs, nusery ryhmes & etc... You will find yourself singing entire songs to get to the correct line.

Can wait for the second edition of cards!

My first experience playing this game made me realize just how many phrases and songs, etc. have come and gone in my lifetime. Its a combination of some real brain teasers that you'll wrack your brain to figure out along with questions that you'll be laughing as you reveal the answer in song. A great group game that can involve players of a wide age bracket. If you like games that will test your memory and make you laugh at the same time...this is a must!
