Book Description

Kimani Romance August 1, 2009

Up-and-coming celeb manager Sage Collins is ready for the big time. About to land her first big client--a teenager who could be the next Michael Jordan--Sage is determined to make her mark. The immovable object in her way? Marshall Grant, the athlete's father and manager--over six feet of sexy, take-charge ex-military male. No matter. Big-city chick Sage isn't leaving small-town Indiana without a contract--even if she has to seduce Marshall to get it.

Sage is all wrong for Marshall. So why is the single father finding the Vegas glam girl so irresistible? Marshall never thought Sage would trade her stilettos for sweats and sneakers, or her thrill-a-minute life for the frigid temps of Indiana. (Maybe the romantic firelit dinner or midnight sleigh rides have something to do with it.) Is the ultimate city girl playing a game neither of them can win? Or are they about to become partners in a new game, where love calls the shots?

More About the Author

Pamela Yaye penned her first novella while teaching in South Korea and upon the advice of a good friend and colleague she transformed, "Other People's Business" into a full-length novel. She wrote The "Trouble With Luv'" soon after and it was released in the fall of 2007. "Her Kind of Man" and "Love T.K.O. both received incredible reviews last year. Sage Collins and Marshall Grant will heat things up in "Games of the Heart" (August 2009) and a feisty PR Director and a superfine, ex-NFL running back rekindle the flames in "Passion Overtime" (November 2009).

If you enjoy a good romance story, rich with desire, scorching HOT love scenes and a few unexpected twists and turns along the way, a Pamela Yaye novel is perfect for you. Grab one of her books, recline in a comfy chair and enjoy the ride! You'll love the heroes and heroines featured in her stories. They're strong but flawed men and women who are just looking for a little love and tenderness. But aren't we all?

I am running a SUPER SEXY contest in June for all of you die-hard romantics. Check it out at www.pamelayaye.com

5.0 out of 5 stars A thoroughly enjoyable read!!!!, September 2, 2009
This review is from: Games of the Heart (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
The key to a good book is good book is a good story, strong and believable characters and in the case of romantic fiction the author must connnect with the reader. Pamela Yaye gives us all of these. Games of the Heart gives us a female character every man would love to have and a man that every man should be. It's man meets woman hidden agendas, emotional and relationship baggage and the attraction of the couple to each other that all of us that have been in love can identify with. I loved reading this book and then I got scared because they were getting on so well you knew something just had to go wrong. I found myself laughing my head off at the way the female lead felt about the clothes her man would wear (my wife is always getting at me to hit the shops!) The love scenes were realistically described as were the feelings of both the male and female characters. It is a rare thing for a sister to accurately portray a brother but Pamela Yaye has done just that. I haven't gone into the plot just buy the book and read for yourself and you won't be disappointed. As for me what can I say except that I have just purchased (via Amazon) another book by Pamela Yaye and I am eagerly awaiting its arrival.
To conlude, Games of the Heart I loved it!!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Everyone Wins, August 9, 2009
This review is from: Games of the Heart (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
Khari Grant is the next phenom. The next Kobe Bryant. The next Lebron James. Just a senior in high school, he's the real deal. Signing him would be a hug feat for Sage Collins and a guarantee at being the next executive manager at Sapphire Entertaining Agency. The only thing standing between her and her dream job is a brute of a man.

Marshall Grant has taken the role of father and protector seriously. He knows his son has great skills and potential to be one of the best at the game. However...it's college first, NBA second as far as he is concerned. He won't let anyone or anything get in the way of that. Offers of money, cars and homes don't faze him. What about a beautiful woman?

Pamela Yaye tackles an unlikely couple while giving us a charming plot, well-realized characters, passion and love. I was pleased. Fans of romance will enjoy "Games of the Heart."

Liked it not a bad read. think i few bits could have been cut out of the story sometimes you want a book to get to the point. But that's just my opinion i still like it would keep.
