Lots of fun suggestions that will work for your next speed show or just for having fun with friends. The book indicates what level the rider needs to be at for each game, as well as advises what safety precautions should be taken. There are games for all seasons of the year and for all riding levels. The book includes drawings of arena or field setup where necessary and has photos of riders participating in the games. The instruction on each of the games also includes information about what skills the rider and horse are developing while playing these games.

I am a therapeutic riding instructor who purchased this book to supplement my lesson plans. I never saw it in person and was absolutely thrilled to see the wealth of ideas it contains. I sometimes run short of creative games to play in my classes and this book has definitely changed that. Since my largest class only has five riders and the levels don't follow the same lines, I don't really follow the instructions to form. The games are easily adaptable for therapeutic riding. I would encourage any TR instructor to purchase this book. I'm sure it would be great for regular riding programs as well. It is the most useful games book I have ever seen.

I teach horseback riding to handicapped children. Because of my riders' limitations, I knew before I bought this book that not all the material would be applicable. I like the material that I can use, and I especially like the diagrams explaining the games. The book is well done and I have used it many times already in my classes.

AWESOME BOOK

I help in teaching therapeutic riding, and I purhcased the book for some ideas of different games to incorporate into the lesson. The book was exactly what I needed. It has several great ideas, and you can easily adapt the games to fit the population you serve.

I bought this as a reference for a camp for kids with cancer and it is perfect. It has beginner to advanced games and suggestions for variations. Highly recommend it.

All the games we played in 4H and then some. This is a good, basic book with easy to follow illustrations. It includes fun, safe games for beginner riders too.

This is a very basic book, could be great for an instructor of kids or a 4H group. Not what an adult rider would want.

I bought this book for my daughter for Christmas and its been great to have at the equestrian center where we keep our horse. My daughter and her friends enjoy the games in this book when they are forced into the indoor arena because of rain.

I loved this book - it has great ideas for games to do with just you and your horse or with a group of others as well. The instructions are clear, with nice pictures. A good choice for your horse library
