A book for teachers, August 12, 2009
This review is from: Games for Learning Chinese (Paperback)
This book is intended for instructional use in the classroom. It consists of 50 games that can be used by teachers to integrate a fun, more enjoyable atmosphere to younger students that get frustrated easily. Because the book is intended for Chinese teachers, it is understandable that the book is going to be entirely in Chinese. The games cover all aspects of the language from reading and writing to speaking and listening. I have used the suggested activities from within this book to teach and tutor and have been very successful in the process. The children all enjoy the activities which alleviates the stress of teaching young children. It also encourages active participation amongst the students which results in more effective learning. My experience with this book was a very positive one, and I would recommend it to any and all Chinese teachers.

Not as user friendly as expected, October 3, 2007
This review is from: Games for Learning Chinese (Paperback)
This book is entirely in Chinese which makes it pretty difficult to use to learn Chinese.
