Editorial Reviews

Amazon.com Review

Once again the editors of Games magazine have scoured back issues for their best puzzles, games and amusements. That's a big task since even an average issue of the magazine is brilliant. You'll find ample ways to playfully test your skills with words, numbers, pattern recognition, logic and much more. The challenges range from simple to devilish so sharpen your pencil, have an eraser handy and plan on many hours of mind-tickling play. Plan on several laughs along the way as well since Games' excellent sense of humor is well represented here.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for Adult Game Lovers, April 11, 2002
By
This review is from: Games Magazine Big Book of Games II: 10 Great Years! (Paperback)
I absolutely loved this book! It has fun and challenging games for all types of people. Some of the games are classics, others are twists on classic games (such as a maze in the shape of a fingerprint, or oddly shaped crosswords with modified rules),and still others are completely original. The original games are brilliant, and so are the modifications they've made on some of the old favorites. Every kind of puzzle is in this book: observation puzzles, math puzzles, riddles, word games, mazes, logic problems, crosswords, trivia, and more. They range from quite easy to nearly impossible, but they are all on an adult level. Make sure you read the instructions to each game carefully, or you'll end up pretty confused. I would definitely recommend this book to anybody who loves games, no matter what type of games they love.
