It doesn't matter is you're planning a birthday party, a New Years Eve party, or if you're just sitting home with a friend; this book will give you something to do! The games in this book range from the simple to the silly and there are even a few with sexual themes:) Yes, this is a must-have for anyone who's tired of watching TV and wants some excitement.

Perfect for 2 people or 50 people,

180 pages of 180 seperate games. Explains rules in simple lines, details matierial/props needed and gives variations. I use for my 2years old party, wedding showers, baby showers, BBQ, or just get togethers with friends or family. I'm invited to advise on all party planning committees or fundraisers and this is my secret weapon.

An excellent resource!,

This is an excellent book! I work at a summer camp and always need new games to play with the kids and this book has been a wonderful source of inspiration. I'm dealing with kids that range in age from 6 to 15 and this book has games good for the entire age range. I have about 15 party & game books and this one definitely gets used more than all the others. Most of the games have been a big hit with the kids, too!

Too much trouble,
This review is from: Games People Play (Paperback)
I look for games to play at family get togethers and simple dinner parties. After reviewing all of the games in the book, I found only one that I could use. The others require too much preparation. For instance, "Mad Advertising" has you record 20 commercial from the TV and find an obscure question to ask about the commercial. When the game begins, you show the commercial and ask the question, and see who gets the most correct answers. That's too much time and trouble, and not that fun.

I've just started to really look at the book and it seems great! A lot of the games that I've read seem like fun. I have an extensive collection of games but these seem different and have a lot of appeal.
