2.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Stones but not functional
I teach elementary school and the students love to play mancala. I needed to replace some stones so I ordered these. UNLIKE the photo, the stones are of various sizes. Many of them are too large for any of my mancala games. They are also too large for little hands. I can use them for other counting games. However, given a choice, I would not order them again.

I bought these for D&D purposes, and they're advertised as 1/2 of an inch across. They're mostly around 3/4 of an inch, so if you're planning to use them for the same purpose, consider that while they fit into a 1x1 inch grid they occupy a lot of it.

Otherwise, probably one of the best ways to get different color stones fast.

The stones that came were quite big for the mancala set that I bought.. This made it a little difficult to play..However, they were a nice color and there were a good number in the package for the money...

My kids had misplaced many Mancala stones from the game board they've had for several years. I purchased these as replacements for $5.00. I thought it was a reasonable price for a game they love to play. Kids are 7 and 12. Stones are colorful and durable. Easy to lose, unfortunately, and probably choking hazard concern if you have kids younger than 4 or 5. For Kindergarten and up, this is an enjoyable game.

My grandchildren introduced me to this game. It's more fun than winning a checker tournament. Fast paced and causes giggles.
