5.0 out of 5 stars Parents have fun with this too!
We bought Mummy Rummy as a gift for my then 10 year old son. He's 13 now and we still play this game now and then. It's a great family game which teaches kids strategic planning and at the same time does not bore parents. Would make a wonderful, "different" gift as it is not readily found in stores ... at least not in our part of the country. END

3.0 out of 5 stars Mummy Rummy
Got this for a family with a young boy. They like it but aren't as enthused about it as they were with Loot. Play Loot all the time. Seems a little complicated.

5.0 out of 5 stars Educational Game worth the time, July 2, 2000

My husband teaches sixth grade and they study Egypt. He uses this game in the classroom and the students love it. We have also played this game in our home with our own children. They also loved it. It is not a game that can just be thrown at the children and expect them to understand it. Parents will need to actually spend time with their children and help them learn it. Once they understand it, they will have no problem playing it by themselves. It can be a very fun, competitive game.

5.0 out of 5 stars A beautifully designed game., July 1, 2003

Mummy Rummy is a cleverly conceived game which requires both strategic thinking and careful observation. It is beautifully designed with tasteful pictures of intriguing egyptian treasures. Cards contain fragments of treasures, and the purpose of the game is to put three cards together to create a whole image. There are a lot of rules to get under your belt at first, but once these are mastered the game is absorbing and satisfying.

My sons have loved this game from ages 5 - 10, and it's still interesting for me after several years. The cards and box have held up very well, and the pictures are high quality.

This is a wonderful game. It did take me awhile to learn but I just needed to focus and really read the directions then off I went. It wasn't so hard after all! I use this game in school with students when teaching a unit on Ancient Egypt. Seems everybody loves Ancient Egypt with its gold and mummies. This game is fun and it helps students look a bit more at Ancient Egyptian art and objects.

This is an unsual and fun game that my kids love. It ranges from challenging to pretty difficult, so it's fun to play with them as well. We'd definitely recommend it, especially if you have bright kids who are easily bored by the typical games.

The product is colorful and with interesting photoes, but not worth the price. Want to play rummy? A regular set of cards will suffice for a lot less money.

This game was a dissapointment after playing Rat A Tat Cat. I am very upset with the quality, because it requires a lot of space and time as well as understanding.
