Uglydoll is the first card game for the Uglydolls. It is a fast game that young children can play. Players take turns flipping over cards, looking for three matching cards. When that happens, it's a free-for-all to grab as many of those same cards as possible. While I think it's a fun game for kids, older children may enjoy this as well. My 15 year old nephew had a lot of fun with Uglydolls.

There is practically nothing to this game, and yet it's a great deal of fun! It's small and convenient to store or take with you on a trip. The game is quite fast so you can play it even if you don't have a lot of time. Game play offers competition without much strategy, so people of all ages can have a blast playing together for a few minutes. Plus, the cards are quite durable and can take a lot of abuse. This game is a perfect example of why less is sometimes more.

A friend introduced us to this card game; and the next day we ordered two sets. It's a great game for family and friends to play; demands constant attention, and creates lots of laughs. We enjoy this game every time we play; and the fan base is growing!

More active and fun than your standard matching game, but encourages similar paying attention to be the first to spot 3 matching ugly dolls as the cards are progressively turned face side up. One of the easier and faster card games, and yet really fun. A great value and very portable for travel.

Aside from being just a fun game to play with kids the ugly doll characters make this simple game of matching really engaging for everyone! My son is an active kid - so getting him to actually sit down and play any kind of game to the end is not always an easy task. However, the short (and funny) descriptions of the characters immediately had him interested in collecting his favorites (part of the game, actually) and then counting his collection at the end (he usually wins). He liked it so much that we bought his grandpa the game for his birthday so they could play it at his house too.

Ugly dolls forever!

We love this game, and we share it with all of our friends who go on to buy it! Our kids love the ugly dolls, and are looking for them in stores. The game is a lot of fun, with people screaming "Ugly, Ugly, Ugly" to win the card(s)! A great game to laugh with the family while the kids learn to recognize the shapes and colors of the cards.

Fun for all ages. It was a hit with our family. Can be played by all ages. Lots of fun and laughs. Warning for adults: take off rings and jewelry. Can get rather physical!

Bought this to play with my 5 year old daughter, but it's not fun. You basically put all the cards in a pile, take turns turning them over real fast and whoever sees a set of 3 matching cards first grabs them quickly and keeps them. Whoever has the most cards at the end wins. The monsters look similar, so obviously it takes more time for my 5 year old to scout out a matching 3 than it does me. I basically have to sit there and pretend I don't see a set, so she can get some cards too. No fun if you have to throw the game everytime, and it's not much fun for her to just be looking for matches the whole game anyway. Spend alittle more and buy something better. We enjoy "Guess Who", "Headbandz" and "Monopoly Junior" as some examples.

We bought this for our 13 yo daughter who loves Ugly dolls but doesn't play games very often. She hasn't played it yet, but my 10 yo son and I had fun with it. My 3.5 yo son watched us play, and he'll probably pick it up pretty quickly. The main idea is being aware of all the overturned cards and paying attention to the ones that have three like dolls flipped over. Then everyone grabs to pick up the cards of a threesome. If more than one player grabs the same card, the 1st one to say Ugly!Ugly!Ugly! keeps it. It's a fast easy game and probably more fun than it sounds! Bottom line, it's simple, quick and lighthearted.
