Beautifully Illustrated, BUT low replayability
on July 23, 2015
Beautifully crafted cooperative game. Awe-inspiring illustrations, sturdy materials, and a vibrant tin case.
As for gameplay, it is relatively fun the first few times.
The game becomes SO cooperative though that everyone loses the idea of controlling their own character as the group just takes control of EVERY character.
After you've worked out a strategy, there's not much more too replaying it. The game can't adapt to combat against your strategy therefore it just ends up losing every time. I bust it out whenever I babysit someone between 8 and 14 who hasn't played it yet.
Otherwise, the game just sits on my shelf making my collection look more fancy. (Did I mention the tin case is very pretty?)
