We purchased this game for our teenage daughter for Christmas. Though rather hesitant about it first, she loves it. We played it twice and really enjoyed it. She took it to friend's and their family enjoyed it as well. Would highly recommend. That being said, I have two cautions. First, do not buy this game if you do not like to be goofy and imaginative. You need to be unafraid to role play in order for this game to be worth the money. Second, I am unsure as to the longevity of this game. I think after awhile, you may, I say may, run out of "stories" to play.

This is another winner from Gamewright. In this game, the premise is that Aunt Millie has died and left her fortune to the players in the game. Each player chooses a character card, but gets to make up who that character is and how he or she is related to Aunt Millie. My kids love to make up voices and everything when they "play" their character. During the game, you try to amass the highest dollar value of Aunt Millie's possesions and win the game. the most fun part is when two players have to "testify" about why he or she deserves a particular possesion more than antoher player. It is a hoot!!!

This game is fun, especially if you play with people that aren't afraid of role-playing with one another, like your family.

Another Gamewright purchase for our nieces. We had a blast playing it. Even the five year old played. She didn't quite get the idea of roleplaying and would tell us why she would want an item, but not as her character. She also would get up from the table and go do other things if the rest of us were "arguing" over an item. It didn't affect the gameplay for the rest of us and I was happy that she could play and be included. The older girls (11) had a lot of fun. At first their stories were "nice" ones - how they wanted something because of fond memories of Aunt Millie, but they soon learned from the adults that the less pleasant memories were often funnier! Hmmm...maybe I should be concerned about that? Nah! I'll let their dad (my brother) worry about that. :) We really did have a lot of fun and soon everyone had their favorite character that they wanted to be. We played a couple of times with some of their friends and the younger one (not sure of the age) was very self-conscious about telling a story, but we patiently encouraged her and eventually she was able to do it. The best thing part about the game is that I know our nieces will continue to play it without us there (we don't live near them). It is definitely a game that is more fun with more players-I would say 4 at a minimum. It encourages creative thinking, but also listening as players take turns "judging" the stories of those who are squabbling. Like so many of the games we play with these girls, it is never really about who wins in the end. It is about how much we fun have in the process and this game had us laughing out loud many times! I am about to purchase a copy for the grandkids.

A little tricky to get my 8 year olds to "play" the parts - but my 10 year old has fun with it. Best for times when kids are lively and creative - not a bedtime cooldown game. Can be very, very funny.

This was a lot of fun, and worth playing with family and friends. I recommend it to play and learn how your friends work out problems! You'll learn how your family thinks and make their logical, or not so logical arguments! Read the instructions a few times and do a few practice rounds, it got more and more fun each time we played!

Aunt Millie died and you are competing with the other heirs for her possessions. Adopt one of the characters and see if you can accrue value and variety. You have to keep track of the total value of the objects you're winning AND the colors. Each player flips an object card and places their character on someone's object card. The fun escalates when two players want the same object. They must make up a story as to why they are the most entitled to win the prize. The Judge (any non-competing player) chooses the story that's the most convincing and awards them the card. So put on your creative hat and see if you can convince the judge to award the prize to you. Win one (and only ONE) object in each of the 5 colors AND have the highest total value for your stash to become the ultimate winner. Fast rounds. Great fun. Played with adults and grandsons, 8 and 10. All thoroughly enjoyed playing.

I ordered this book as a gift for Christmas. The person I gave it to had had hours of fun playing the game with her friends, who are all adults. Adults seem to have the most fun with the game.
