Product Description

Editorial Review

This imaginative card game, which won a National Parenting Publications Honors Award and made Game magazine's Top 100 list, succeeds in carrying players back to the legendary time of King Arthur's Camelot. Armed with weapon cards, ally cards, and other "battle points," players embark on quests, such as slaying dragons and searching for the Holy Grail. They fight treacherous foes, accept challenging tests, and try their hand at tournaments in an effort to earn shields and bump themselves up the ranks--from lowly squire to lofty Knight of the Round Table. The game is indeed elaborate, so youngsters may require some adult assistance getting started, but it's perfect for history buffs or anyone with an active imagination. It includes all necessary playing cards and shields as well as complete instructions that come with a nice bonus: a short history and list of related reading. --Elizabeth Ward

I love playing Quests because it is a great mood-maker. It brings you into the romantic, daring age of chivalry and knights... ladies and dragons... One can learn how to play in only a few minutes, and then move on the enjoy the beautiful artwork on the cards. It is like a smooth combination of poker-style card playing and dungeons and dragons-style role-taking It finishes up nice and quickly too - so you have the option of playing another game or moving on. We played with adult and young together, and everybody had fun. Great value for the price. END

We played this game continuously for four months, until we got Honor of the Samurai. My son swore that he would never like another game as well as he liked Quests, but now Honor of the Samurai is running a close second.

THIS IS A GREAT GAME FOR 10 YEAR OLD KIDS. WE SPENT A FOGGY DAY "QUESTING" AWAY. EACH OF THE 4 CHILDREN ON OUR OUTING COULD NOT STOP THEIR PURSUIT OF THE STATUS OF CHAMPION KNIGHT. THE GAME TEACHES THE LEGEND OF KING ARTHUR, MATH AND STRATEGY. END
