Fantastic Book
I read this book, along with "Casino Operations Management" by Kilby, Fox, and Lucas. Both books were EXTREMELY helpful. They both start by assuming you know nothing about the gaming industry. They then show you the history and the evolution of the industry and then take you under the covers to show you the hows and whys of casino management and its decisions. I would...

High level overview
Very High level overview; sort of a textbook for a survey course on gaming. Unfortunately it doesn't go into depth. Also uses lots of gaming references without defining them, which doesn't help you much if you are not already familiar with the industry. As such, it is of limited usefulness to anybody not already familiar with the industry. It's also of little use to...

I read this book, along with "Casino Operations Management" by Kilby, Fox, and Lucas. Both books were EXTREMELY helpful. They both start by assuming you know nothing about the gaming industry. Very High level overview; sort of a textbook for a survey course on gaming. Unfortunately it doesn't go into depth.
