I have purchased this head band for several years and have always liked it for its absorbency and durability. Recently I could not find any of these head bands locally but finally found them online. Since I liked them so much (but had not purchased any for at least a year), I decided to stock up and bought several. I am disappointed in the current product. Although it has the same braided look, it begins to "pill" the first time it is washed. It also is less absorbent than the older ones that I still have. The manufacturer clearly has lowered the quality of this product. I would have preferred to pay more and have the quality remain as it once was.
