5.0 out of 5 stars peace and quiet
okay,so they are a little larger than a tennis ball almost the size of a softball. They also move a little slower than a tennis ball but what an awsome way to introduce younger players to the game. Best of all peace a quiet. My kids love to hit them up on the walls and play various indoor games with the foam tennis balls. So far no marks and nothing has been broke. I...

2.0 out of 5 stars Good, but Dunlop is better
I bought these balls to start Tennis with my 4 year old. I already had one Dunlop SpeedBall. The Gamma balls look exactly like the Dunlop ball, so at first thought the same company manufactures them. But on direct comparison the Dunlop ball is noticeably firmer in the core and has a higher bounce. I can still use these balls, but next time around I'll buy all Dunlops.

I would recommend this product not only for tennis practice but as a welcomed addition to any toy box.

5.0 out of 5 stars changed my entire view of tennis, August 11, 2011

these things are a total life-saver! The foam balls slow the game down enough that you can have fun volleys with total novices, which boosts the "fun" time and reduces the time and effort it takes to constantly chase down missed hits with standard tennis balls.
They bounce like regular tennis balls, just slower and not as far, and are easier to "steer" to where you want the ball to go. This give to time to think about the trajectory of the ball, how you would like to strike it, get into place, set your feet, and do a proper swing. Really great learning tool for beginners.

I use these foam Gamma balls in my beginning tennis instruction. They bounce well, are easy to hit and don't hurt when you get pegged. Kids are crazy about them too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great sport!, April 2, 2009
This review is from: Gamma Revolution Foam Ball (Sports)
This is great for everyone who just want to have fun playing "tennis", but do not want to spend a lot of time learning it. My wife picked up the game in a few minutes, and started play like a good "tennis player". The speed is a little slower than the really tennis ball, it is a great fun for kids and family.

These balls are okay. They don't have alot of bounce. We were given a Wilson foam ball from a tennis pro at the tennis club, and it plays much better.

These practice balls are great for all levels of tennis players. All sorts of fun drills, especially quick volleys, can be devised using these soft, non-threatening balls. Both adults and children enjoy playing games with the Gamma Revolution Foam Balls. Instructors should make them part of their teaching equipment.
