Beyond the Horizon is a look at the United States in the Gamma Age, with hints about what the rest of the world might look like during the same period. I found this book to be full of ideas but not to have much in it that was playable. You could take everything in this book and put it all in one small campaign area, I didn't feel it had either real scope or depth. For ideas, though, it was good, which is why it got four stars from me. If you want a taste of what the Gamma Age could be about, this is a good resource.
