I have been using this squirrel target for several weeks and must have fired over a hundred pellets at it. It works exactly as it should. It goes down when you hit the yellow target and it resets easily with a tug on the line. The line is much longer than I will ever use. Its a very durable line, probably nylon. I put this target about 60' out and don't come close to the max length of the line. At 60' the target is challenging enough without using the reducers. If you are an expert shot or if you want to put the target close you can use the reducers. The smallest reducer is about a 1/4" hole. The squirrel and reducers are made of a nice thick steel. Pellets do not dent the steel but they will take the paint off. The squirrel can be removed and flipped over. I repainted mine once after 100 shots. It takes 10 minutes to disassemble and paint. It is very satisfying seeing the squirrel go down. Way more fun then hitting soda cans.

This target works as advertised, and provides varying levels of challenge with the adjustable target windows. However, the hardware that the target articulates on has a tendency to fall (or should I say fly) apart. When it does, good luck searching the yard for the parts. An easier solution is to put a regular bolt with a nylock nut on it, problem solved and it shouldn't fly apart again. With touch-up paint now and then, this target should stand up to a lot of abuse from pellet guns without fail.

I shoot air rifle field target competition and this target provides me an opportunity to practice at home. It is very well made and very sturdy. Various aperture adapters are provided to allow you to change the size of the opening and they work well. I have not yet bought the other animal faceplates, but having them available make this target even more versatile. I am not a hunter, but for those who use magnum air rifles to hunt small game, this target would be very valuable in practicing for an actual hunt. I highly recommend this product.

Fun Field Target for pellet gunning. This target is built well can take a beating. I've been shooting it for over 3 weeks with my .22 Benjamin Marauder and other than paint chipping, it is taking the hits without any problems. I just touched up the paint with some rattle-can paints this week and it looks as good as new.

The pull-cord is nice and long and made of a heavy duty nylon material more then strong enough for the task of pulling and resetting the target. The silhouette and strike plate are made of steel which is thick enough to take hard hitting pellets. I like the reducer rings because they make it more challenging at closer range or longer range if you and your gun are accurate. Only gripe is the rings have popped off a few times after the target dropped. I found that if I bent the tab on the rings it stopped.

I'll buy more so I can have a few targets set up a various distances or make a course.

I had to replace the pin that holds the drop plate to the squirrel. I used a little metric bolt and washer and nut. I am using it with a Benjamin NP 22 cal...shooting at about 21 yds...nice, works as advertised. I use yellow spray paint to touch up the target plate after each use. I would recommend to others. It's fun, challenging, and fairly heavy duty. Also, if you buy, plan on mounting it to a piece of plywood or other base...the anchors really dont hold it firmly enough.

The target is sturdy, built very well and it will last a long time. It works well with high or low velocity guns. It comes with stakes to put it on the ground but I would recommend attaching it to a board for faster and easier setup when you move your target. Some slight assembly is required but it is easy to do.
