One of the most important historical studies of Gandhi,
By Robert N. Minor, Ph.D. (Kansas City, MO) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Gandhi in London (Hardcover)
This is absolutely critical reading for anyone who wants to understand the thought of Gandhi. Here we find its origins and especially information that helps us understand how Gandhi reinterpreted his own tradition in the light of his education, his reading, and the people he met. This is a must read along with Gandhi and the Nonconformists: Encounters in South Africa. Sadly, most later scholarship has not known of Hunt's work.
