Mafia & G-men in a Role Playing Game, revised 3rd edition, December 11, 2003
This review is from: Gangbusters 1920's Role-Playing Adventure Game (Paperback)
TSR -- seeking diversification from the fantasy genre -- introduced its Mafia & G-Men genre game as a box set in 1982 (ISBN 0394525973). Like its contemporary brother RPG, Top Secret, GangBusters operated on a percentile-based rules system. It was a fine game and deserved more attention than it received.
This 3rd edition was published in 1990 as a single perfect-bound book. It contains:
* Game Rules for Players and Judges
* a 28"xl9" full-color map of downtown Lakefront City
* a sheet of 156 playing pieces
* Game Statistics for famed gangsters and law enforcers of the 20's and 30's
* over 150 characters for use in Lakefront City
