Kel mitchel is soooooo funny! And also the father, he kept me laughing alot. I think some of the effects where very good, and the director Ken Micheal is going to be one of the greats. I've seen his other work, which is EVEN better then this project he took on, and I can't wait to see how far he goes. GO OUT AND BUY GANKED!! ITS WORTH IT!!

Aspiring singer, Ricky Barry is living at home with his parents and thirty-year-old sister. He enters a contest for a record deal with Ross records. Comes to find out Shane Ross (owner of Ross Records) needed a publicity stunt, so he sends his daughter Kennedy Ross to review Ricky. She likes Ricky so much she decides to steal his song, and become a number 1 hit!! Ricky becomes raged, and try to ruin Kennedy Ross' career to seek revenge, and the rights to his song.

Great movie, gets big laughs and truly is the "Buttery Hottness"

When I first saw this movie I thought it was hilarious and wanted my own copy. I'm writing a review now because I didn't realize that the movie was supposed to be so terrible. I missed the memo about this movie stating that it was supposed to be taken seriously. The previous movie reviews take me back to when "I'm Gonna Get You Sucka'first came out and my mother's response to it. She thought that was the worst movie ever! She mentioned actors she liked; that were good before "this movie", on and on. Just complaining. I said to her "mom, it's a joke... a comedy, a spoof" She watched it again with that in mind and thought it was the funniest thing ever. Same goes for this movie. Yea, the acting is bad, the singing is horrendous. But that's the point. How many terrible actors, and lousy singers are out there (and being taken seriously by themselves and others)making the big bucks? Obviously the cast of this movie weren't out to get nominated for Academy Awards just some laughs. I think they hit the mark in that respect. Take it with a grain of salt and you'll have a good time. Thanks for the heads up, but I'll get my own copy anyway.

GANKED IS A FILM ABOUT THE EVERDAY HAPPENINGS OF THE MUSIC INDUSTRY. A STORY TOLD BEFORE BUT NOT BY KEL AND HIS KVL SQUAD! IT'S OBVIOUS THAT KEL (& KENAN FOR THAT MATTER) WENT TO THE MARTIN LAWRENCE SCHOOL OF COMEDY BUT HE STILL HAS HIS OWN STYLE. EDITED LOVELY AND VERY ENTERTAINING!! YA'LL SHOULD ALSO CHECK OUT KEL VIDEOS LIVE TOO!!! HOLLA!

Movie had great energy. Kel was funny as usual! Kenn was great in his diverse roles. RECOMMEND

DUMB and why they called this movie GANKED, was dumb. It only appeared once.

Wish I'd save my money. It's not what they reviewers said, and not funny.

I THINK THIS MOVIE WAS JUST ALRIGHT. KEL WAS FUNNY IN SOME SCENES BUT HE SHOULD BE MORE DOWN TO EARTH WITH HIS COMEDY.I LIKE THE TOPIC OF THIS MOVIE BECAUSE PEOPLE CAN GET ROBBED IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY. THEY SHOULD HAVE MORE AND BETTER ACTORS IN THIS MOVIE TO MAKE IT MORE LIVELY. ALSO,I LIKE THAT THEY GOT THE TWO BOYS FROM THE PARKERS,THE GUY THAT PLAYED IN FRIDAY AND FREDRO STARR WAS ALRIGHT. THE GIRL THAT PLAYED KENNEDY ROSS THAT ROBBED RICKY BARRY(KEL) CAN'T ACT AT ALL IN THIS MOVIE.OVERALL, I STILL LOVE KEL AND I STILL THINK HE HAS THE ABILITY TO BE FUNNY AS HELL. I HOPE HE'LL STAR OR BE IN A MOVIE THAT'S NOT LOW BUDGET.

This was a terrible movie-the only decent part in it was when the male character was singing-(I don't really believe it was his voice). Katt Williams is one of my favorites but that was an awful part for him.

Two things should have warned me this movie was going
to be horrible.Kel Mitchell was in it,and after "Good
Burger" everything he does should be discounted,and
he wrote it.That should have been a dead giveaway.

It's boring,stupid and completely unfunny.The
characters are amazing in their stupidity.Having
one guy who opens the door complaining all the time,
the girl that they fawn over is an ass-&$le and
that Money Mike guy from "Friday after Next" keeps
pullin a Katie Holmes and "acts" the same way in
every movie he's in regardless of the character.
Which means he can't act.He's a worse actor than
Heather Graham and that's saying alot.

Buy this movie only if you would like to
see how well a DVD can burn,cause thats all
you should do with it.

I watched this Film over the weekend&I always dug Kel's stuff from back in the day,but this Film was Madd Corny.Kennedy Ross was a Stuff Chick,but Vocally if You were Drunk that voice of Her's would Sober you up because your Ears would Be Ringing.Kennedy Ross was Stacked like a GreyHound Bus,but Vocally she came off like a Crusty Cheese Bus.it had a couple of laughs&Helped Me Snore real well that Night.
