Chris Randall jhas always shown a spark that wants to walk down the electonic lane. in fact, the band Sister Machine Gun (now broken apart but still a force for almost 2 decades) made a lot of sounds that really pushed the bill. When they released Burn, items like mortal combat latched on and made some of those songs hits and they also made SMG a commodity that was expected something from. not the case with Micronaut and the releases they made.

most the child of keyboards and samples, these albums are a bit more out there than a mainstream taster. I like that, making my own path, using the vision of the artist and the name they concieved and typing to see through those eyes. Sometimes I see a lot of things, too, and sometimes those are motion based because these songs say "move."

Not to be the same old thing, the songs here flow but they also make their own bits of handywork. They also pushed and pried at the time, trying new things to make beats that people could enjoy. I was a big SMG fan and did not know about this, falling victim to the early years of CD vs. downloads. Randall did that then, and did it well.

If you want this, try it out first and make sure. i love it, a 5/5 sound all day long, but it is one of those tastes you have or you don't. This is trying to be objective and say listen, hoping to be more than my musical tastes.

you can always sample something and, in doing that, make certian. Then buy. and thank you.

5.0 out of 5 stars not THE ganymede, September 4, 2003
This review is from: Ganymede (Audio CD)
Just a word of warning, this is not the better known synthpop band from Cali also named Ganymede, who came on the scene in 2000.
