I bought this book because I expect to implement the GAPS protocol in our household. The author addresses all my practical concerns, and does so with good humor.

I bought this after trying to decide between it and the book by Dr. NCM. I chose this one because I wanted to start GAPS asap, and I really didn't want to know the "why's" but the "how's" of the diet at this point. I do fully intend to get the other book, though, at some point.

The GAPS Guide by Baden Lashkov is short, concise, and helped me answer many of the questions I had about the Intro diet. I enjoyed reading her story, and I appreciate all the information she puts in the book. I like how she references to the GAPS book by Dr. NCM a lot as well. Great purchase!

What I love about this book is that the author understands how overwhelming this whole "switching over to real food and learning how to prepare it" can be. She goes ve-e-r-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y through the steps and you can take it at your own pace. Even though there is SO MUCH to do, I don't feel defeated because I can't do it all RIGHT NOW. It may take a while, but I know it will happen. Thanks for writing it this way!
