This book is a gem for garage salers, thrift store shoppers and eBayers alike! The author provides excellent tips, detailed checklists and great stories - all written in an entertaining style. Worth the price alone for the Instant Ancestors idea!

This book makes the sometimes intimidating task of holding a garage sale seem not only manageable, but fun. I especially like John's stories of the treasures he has found, and his tips for encouraging customers to stop at his sales.

This is an incredible book for sellers and buyers as well! Just one of his tips has earned me four times the price of this book. This is the perfect book for Ebayers or bargain shoppers--or those who just want to declutter or make a few extra bucks.

Sure the book is pretty slim, but I've been to many garage sale where the seller didn't have a clue. This book tells you what you need to know about pricing your stuff and how to display it to catch the buyer's attention. He warns you about early birds, theft, and people who wander into your house.
Putting on a yard sale is hard work, so don't make it a wasted effort by doing it poorly.

At a time where I am pitching pennies and trying to dispose of my unwanted stuff for top dollar, Garage Sale Fever came to lead me to instant garage sale success! I especially love the tips on how to keep like items together--it helped for those add on sales--and John's own garage sales stories were entertaining. I love that he included them--because he takes something that most people consider drudge work and turns it into an adventure! I recommend this to anyone who needs to make a few extra dollars--and turn some cash from the attic relics!
