This review is from: Garageband Tips and Tricks (Paperback)
I leafed through many Garageband books at the local chain stores. None were satisfactory; Apple's books feel like they are written specifically for their certification tests, the "Everything" book insults the reader's intelligence, and the general iLife books don't get "in-depth" enough on Garageband.
I ordered this on a whim; it was cheap, and I figured it couldn't be worse than the others. What a pleasant surprise! This book's really good. Tips and tricks from cover to cover, and plenty of figures. I'm using Garageband to multitrack a band, record soft synths and loops, and edit audio for some imovie projects. I found plenty of information relating to those activities, plus some good podcast advice. Certainly worth the money. |
