4.0 out of 5 stars Sloppy Returns to Their Roots
"Garbage Days Regurgitated" is an homage to some of the music which made punk rock great. From Black Flag to Joan Jett, this is not your basic album of Ramones/Sex Pistols covers (with all due respect to those bands). From start to finish, this is a fun-filled, frenetic, festival of furious three-chord energy. There's even a cover of "I Won't Grow...

3.0 out of 5 stars yes, punk rock covers!
Rachel, go back to the ghetto and listen to gangsta rap, you have no clue what punk rock is about. The lyrics are silly, I admit it (they're cover songs, btw!) and they are also fun and irreverant. Here are some lyrics for you to ponder: GABBA GABBA HEY!

From start to finish, this is a fun-filled, frenetic, festival of furious three-chord energy. There's even a cover of "I Won't Grow Up" from the Broadway musical Peter Pan. What more could anyone ask for? Clocking in at just over fifteen minutes, this EP is a bargain at any price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pure PUNK ROCK fun packed with ANTHEMS you'll LOVE!!, August 17, 2003

Another excellent EP entry from the all time best punky "junk rock" band! If you're fond of three chord sleazy but well produced power-pop, coupled with ironic and hook laden lyrics about juvenile angst, beer, and B-movies, these guys are a MUST HAVE for you. Fans of both The Cramps and The Vandals will appreciate this band. On this release the masters serve us up a slab of well crafted covers: well worth the price for "I Won't Grow Up" and "I Wanna Go Home" alone, plus you get a much rockin version of Black Flag's tongue-in-cheek "TV Party" which holds up BETTER than Henry's original. The EP slips a little on the Joan Jett cover "I'm Gonna Runaway" but HEY--it's still well worth the buy overall. These guys are tragically underrated.

1.0 out of 5 stars Sloppy Seconds makes a Sloppy Cut, August 15, 2000
This review is from: Garbage Days Regurgitated EP (Audio CD)
Sloppy Seconds is a punk/rock band and is not that well know yet. With tracks like these, it's obvious as to why. There first cut on the CD is "I don't want to grow up". Perhaps the title is from Peter Pan or based on the Toys 'R Us theme song?! Anyway, it says "I don't wanna grow...I don't wanna wear a tie..."! They are trying to mix punk and rock with stupid lyrics. I don't recommend this CD at all.
