This is a beautifully produced book that has terrific basic information. Of course, every region has its challenges, but this is a nice addition to any gardener's library.

This book is tremendously informative. The colorful pictures make the plants easy to identify and describes the plant in detail. There is a section on diseases and problems and how to prevent as well as cure them. The book covers planning, lawns, trees, shrubs, perennials, vines, ground covers, annuals and bulbs, veggies, herbs, pests as well as info on tools, irrigation, cuttings, fertilizer, and a lot more. It is a beautiful book and fun to "just read" or use as a reference.
