5.0 out of 5 stars Great Indispensable Garden Clippers

I use them for absolutely everything: flower cutting, tons of ornamental pruning jobs - even weeding. Good for everything from bonsai to Japanese maples... The sharp points and blades are precision made...

Without them tucked into my garden tool belt I would be lost

1.0 out of 5 stars Clippers
Tried to clip small branches of potted plant and the steel was peeling from blades. Reported it and it was replaced. Bought a $12 one from agricultural supplier store and it worked flawlessley on same plant and many others.

The clippers have sturdy trimming tips and good gripping handles. Care will be needed to keep them oiled to prevent rusting. My only concern is the life of the coil spring.

Am thrilled with this purchase. Can only say that these clippers in my garden are akin having a great chef's knife in the kitchen. Surgically precise, very sharp and thin, the blades cut through the densest of foliage. To answer the previous review, obviously they are not replacements for limb cutters or heavy-duty pruning, but are workably reliable for those quick, endless chores of nipping off an errant vine or privet, for shaping a boxwood or japanese maple, for dead-heading a lilac or hydrangea. I love them and keep them handy in my tool belt. Thank you, Dianne b.
