Great Book! Super Easy!,

I have knitted several of the cloths in the book. They look great and have a wonderful texture. I am going to use them as bath cloths instead of in the kitchen. I wish they had a hundred more patterns just like these! Money well spent! You can knit two cloths with one $1.27 ball of peaches and cream cotton yarn. They feel Great!

Dishcloths that look great!,

These dishcloths are really great! They knit up very easily and they turn out beautiful. The directions are easy to follow so anyone can knit them. I especially like the birdhouse, sunflower and butterfly. I recommend this pattern book to any knitter who can knit and purl.

I considered my knitting niche to be rectangles. Scarfs, no problem. Garter stitch in any fiber! When I decided to expand - to try knitting something that had a pattern - I bought this book. Using only knit and purl, and in projects small enough that you don't feel you've invested too much in time or money just in case you mess up - the patterns in this book are quick, fun, easy and totally gratifying. I found I didn't want to use them as dishcloths, though - so I changed yarn and I'm piecing them together as an afghan. In summer I have the real garden - but for now I have these quick, totally gratifying projects.

These cozy patterns are easy and quick, and produce cute dish cloths. The directions are easy to follow and the finished products look like the photos. You only need to know how to knit and purl. I whipped up a few of them for Christmas presents, finishing one a night. The only downside is that they are a bit small.

a very fun twist to dishcloths, with just knit and purl stitches, the designs appear, manageable enough for just a night or two of knitting.

Not only do these cloths make great gifts, the patterns are easy to follow ... even for a knitter who knows only the knit and purl stitches. A new knitter can move on to these as a change from scarves.
Yes, you do need to pay attention to what you're doing (no watching TV or yakking on the phone), but if you even pay the minimum attention to the pattern rows, you won't mess up. My copy of this booklet is tattered, marked up, and has been used so much I need to buy another. I knit the whole 12 as gifts for house warmings or showers. At first people look at them askance, but when they begin to make out the patterns, smiles abound and the cloths get handed around. Add a note that they can be machine washed and dried (you use 100% cotton yarn on these) and you have even more smiles. Each cloth is shown somewhere in the book in full color so you can see what the finished product will look like. And unlike some other books, you don't see these patterns floating around the Internet for free. You pay for the book and you get patterns that are different. All in all this was a good product for a reasonable cost & I am getting another copy.

Great, great book - wonderful designs. Makes making and giving these dishcloths a pleasure and so much better than the run of the mill dishcloths.

Just as I had hoped, this little book has many, many patterns for the knitting of dish cloths. I want to make dish cloths for some of my Christmas presents, and this publication has enabled me to choose from several designs. The instructions are very plain and easy to follow. I know that this book will be used, reused, and reused some more as time passes. This was a great find. Get it through Amazon and you will have a copy in just a few days.
