Equipped with everything necessary to grow organic herb plants, the set would make a wonderful gift for the budding botanist, or the culinary ingénue, in the family. The set includes basil, oregano, and chives seeds, three of the most frequently employed herbs in Italian cooking. Three green artisan stoneware planters accompany the seeds, along with a matching drip tray that fits all three planters. To ensure the organic quality of the herbs, garden at home provides a bag of organic soil with which to fill the planters. After planting the seeds, gardeners simply water the plants regularly and consult the included instructions for suggestions to further promote growth. This is another thing I bought from this seller that has been a great buy! The herbs I'm growing are healthy and taste amazing. For under 15 bucks, I'm surprised at how great this herb garden is. I would definitely recommend it above other more expensive ones even! I have more than enough fresh herbs for cooking, and multiple people have commented on how pretty the little garden is when they come over. It grows right on my kitchen windowsill and looks so nice in the little container that came with it! Thanks again, I'll be back!!

This was fun and easy to plant in the beautiful pots! Within days, the plants had germinated and I had sprouts! I also ordered the mexican herb garden!

I ordered this but was a little anxious from some of the other reviews that I had seen, but it is great. The seeds sprouted and, now, I have 3 plants that are 3-4 inches tall! It is a very nice looking set and the drip tray is important. The tray makes it easy and neat to water--no spill--and provides humidity. Really happy with this purchase!

Instructions
The "instructions" that came with the plants weren't really too helpful. The oregano didn't grow because it needed to be sowed, not planted beneath the soil. Read more
