Having perused the articles regarding soy from the Weston A. Price Foundation including Tragedy and Hype and the Ploy of Soy, it seems the previous reviewer missed the distinction between fermented (fit for human consumption) and unfermented (unfit). While I have not tried this product, I felt it only fair to balance a misleading review.

I was diagnosed with a -3.3 Dexa score at age 58 due to gas leak in my house sucking calcium out of my bones for 6 months. (that's another huge story in itself). Dexa score said typical fora 78 yr old women at extreme risk for spinal bone fracture. About 18 months ago I discover Vitamin Code Grow Bone and have been taking it ever since. Have not had a follow up Dexa, but i certainly feel a lot strong and more stable. Can lift 5 gallon water jug with no problem now, where as before I felt like my spine was collapsing when lifting 40 lbs of water. The Growth Factors you take a night are fabulous sleep aids. Those capsules will knock you out into a deep sleep like a child. I haven't slept this well in decades. Guess the body needs this deep sleep to repair the bones. I have been taking this product for 4 months. I was looking for a natural product that provides calcium and promotes bone health/growth. Before,I was taking another product but was concerned that expert advice suggests that it may actually cause my bones to be more brittle. A friend recommended this product. Since i started taking this product and I am longer feeling the joint pains in my hands and shoulders. I have actually bought it for my best friend and she is taking it as well.I have not yet taken a bone density test to see if there is any improvement. But I will report on this in a few months.
The price from Amazon is about 40% less than the price in my local Health Food Store.

Although it is not mentioned in the description, Grow Bone contains soy. Here is the list of extra ingredients from the label. "Vitamin Code RAW Calcium: Saccharomyces Cerevisiae, Vegetable capsule (cellulose), Lactobacillus bulgaricus, natto (Fermented soy)"

After reading about the toxic properties of soy in "Tragedy & Hype: The Third International Soy Symposium," I would not use this product because it contains fermented soy. I am looking for a calcium capsule with only one ingredient - algas calcareas sp.
