I have used the Child Life Colostrum With Probiotics 50 Grams Powder and the Garden of Life Raw Probiotics, Kids, 3.4-Ounce and here is my opinion on each:

Child Life:
Pros - The serving size for my kid is smaller in this brand than the Garden of Life, so each bottle lasts longer before needing to be ordered again. Probably makes each serving a little cheaper.
- The flavor is very mild and my child doesn't mind it at all. I mix this in with other liquid vitamins and he doesn't make any discernment between this one or the other
Con - My biggest problem with Child Life's is that it does not dissolve or mix into his drink at all. After he drinks the whole sippy there are still little globs everywhere on the inside of the cup. No amount of shaking seems to get it mixed in. I keep adding his water for the rest of the day so that eventually he gets it all.

Garden Of Life:
Pros - It is raw. Raw vitamins and probiotics are going to be better for you than non-raw, in my opinion.
- The flavor is not offensive and my child does not mind it or discern it from the Child Life.
- It dissolves and mixes in easily. The first glass of vitamin juice and it's gone.
Con - The serving size is a little larger than Child Life and I think it might be a little more expensive per serving but I don't mind.

Overall I prefer the Garden of Life and will be buy that one again once the Child Life runs out.

This was a great buy for me. My son regularly (every 3 days) complained of stomach pains and constipation. This product cleared all that up. Since I started giving this to him, not 1 stomach complaint. What a weight off this mother's chest!

My 2 year old loves this probiotic and asks for it every morning. I thought I would reorder, it has been easy to get her to take it. Then I actually looked at what's in it and how it compares with various other probiotics on the market. I changed my mind.

Out of the 96 grams you buy, only about 5 are actual probiotic strains. The rest are the raw organic fruits and vegetables and inulin.

I would rather spend my money on whole fruits and veggies and buy a probiotic supplement that's just probiotics (there are a few on the market, one that I have looked into and am considering lately is Organic GUTPro). The only difficulty with buying a supplement such as the one mentioned is that the dosages have to be TINY to make sure you don't upset their little stomachs (1/64th of a teaspoon delivers 12.5 billion CFUs as opposed to 3/4 teaspoon of Garden of Life's, which delivers 5 billion CFUs).

Hope this helps.

My daughter had terrible eczema since she was born (she is 3.5 now). I was desperate to find a solution, since she was miserable and scratching herself until she was bleeding.

This is for kids age 3 Months and older. There are so many probiotics for kids that come in a chewable form and/or are not for kids this young. I started putting this powdered product in my daughter's bottles of breastmilk.

This product has been AMAZING. Basically, my daughter no longer has eczema. Once in a while she has a flareup - like if sunscreen irritates her skin, she is very sweaty, and so on - basically if there is an additional factor irritating her skin. Before I tried this product, I thought I had tried just about everything: baths with basically no soap, flax oil on her skin, coconut oil, flax oil supplements, various lotions, and even a steroid cream as a last resort when flareups became so miserable.

I know that this product works. We have gone away on vacation and I have forgotten to bring this probiotic, and within days, my daughter will be scratching herself all night long. I have run out of this product, and again, within days, we are desperate for the arrival of more Garden of Life Raw Probiotics. Now that she is older, I have tried a variety of chewable probiotics, but I don't think those have the potency or efficacy of this product, because the eczema comes back.

My daughter also has a severe peanut allergy, and our allergist was asking if my daughter gets sick a lot, or more than average. She has been very healthy and has had colds that come and go, but to this day has not had a single ear infection, the flu, stomach bugs, strep throat, etc.

I have been using this product for my kids for a while. My kids have never been healthier. Sure they have had a minor cold this season, but nothing compared to what has been going around their school. My son said that they have only had one or two days where everyone in his class has been in attendance due to sickness. The stomach flu has gone around numerous times as well as other fever causing illnesses. Neither of my kids have missed one day of school. No fevers or stomach illnesses (knock on wood!). Last year my daughter had strep with a high fever at least 4 times by now. No strep at all this year. I mix it into Kefir for them every morning.
