taking for about four months now,
By There is something important to remember when taking this product. It triggers the metabolism of white fat cells. What many people don't realize is that the body uses fat (more so white than brown) as a sort of garbage can. Chemicals that it cannot properly metabolize, especially chemicals that are oligophillic (oil-soluble) rather than hydrophillic (water soluble, which tend to be urinated away), are simply sequestered into fat cells. It's the body's equivalent of "sweeping under the rug". So, if you have things like pesticides and such sequestered in your fat cells, and you add fucoxanthin and suddenly start metabolism in your fat, all the sequestered stuff is suddenly dumped back into your system. In the long run it's good to clean it out, but it can make you feel like crap at the beginning. If you take this, start with just one in the morning, not the recommended three. Also, cut back a bit on caffeine. (If you're on other health supplements, taurine, guarana extract, and yerba mate extract *are* caffeine. Caffeine is a simple, flat, *non-chiral* molecule.) Drink extra clean water to help your body flush. Eat more fresh veggies to help break down extra homocystine.

fucothin may really work!,
I've been taking fucothin for 2 months now. I have not had any of the foul smelling urine others have reported. What I have noticed is I can eat anything I want and not gain weight. Even when I have eaten soooo bad and step on the scale just knowing that I gained, I either stayed the same or actually went down a little bit. That never happens to me! I'm actually going to start counting calories and exercising because I feel like if I do that I'll really see results!

Didn't work for me,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I decided to try fucothin because of recent articles I had read on the product and its ability to increase metabolism without changing your diet or exercise habits. I bought two bottles because it claims to take six weeks to work. My job is extremely physical, but otherwise I did not change anything. I was about halfway through the second bottle before I noticed the smelly urine. Luckily I had read the previous reviews, so I knew what was happening. Unfortunately, I did not have the weight loss that the others claimed, or I wouldn't have minded the smell. I had actually gained two pounds. Between the rotten vegetable smell and the weight gain, I decided it wasn't worth it to keep taking the pills. I had even tried doubling up the doses like another person suggested just to get rid of the pills faster. Another side effect was the warm patches that would appear on various areas of my body. So I was getting the thermal effect, it just wasn't causing me to lose weight. But the extra heat sure is good for winter in Wisconsin! Bottom line: don't expect a miracle pill, it isn't going to work for everyone. Proper diet and exercise is the best way to go.

This stuff truly does work....,
This review is from: Garden Of Life fucoTHIN, 90-Count Bottle (Health and Beauty)
I started taking Fucothin about 8-9 weeks ago. I am an 18 year old male that is 5'10 and weighs(ed) 185. I took only the 1 pill for each meal for almost three weeks. Then I read the bottle again and realized that I had forgotten to up the dosage. I upped the dosage and started taking 3 at each meal. I have lost about 12lbs. I eat no differently actually in some cases I have been eating worse. I have continued to work out exactly the same as before. I'm impressed. I do like the fact that I can cheat to some degree. I had heard of some people have urine trouble as far as their urine smelling I have had not trouble whatsoever. That is why the bottle says to drink eight ounces of water with the pills.
