The packing was terrific!

Upon opening the package, I found one was cracked from the top of the planter to the bottom.

It looks like real wood and so far has held up well in spite of many rain and wind episodes.

I was somewhat surprised when I opened the box and this planter was not wood, but a composite material. I didn't recall that this was stated anywhere in the description.
However, I am very pleased with it. It looks like real wood and so far has held up well in spite of many rain and wind episodes. I will purchase another one for sure.

I received the planters wrapped in plastic. After opening the plastic, I noticed the bottom planter was broken on the sides. After looking at the broken area I could see how thinly made the walls of the planters were. Very thin! Like less than 2 millimeters thin. I was not pleased with how thin they were made. Other than that, they are very nice looking!

I ORDERED THIS PLANTER BECAUSE I HAD REAL WOOD ONES THAT HAVE FALLEN APART, I really like the fact that these are composite material. We live in northern Minn. and the winters get plenty cold so I think these will hold up better. The packing was terrific! Huge box with tons of brown paper nested around barrel got these to me in perfect cond. I will be ordering more of the same. Thanks!

I purchased these planters because they went well with the rustic theme I have in the patio. They are really beautiful. The only thing I had to do before re-potting my plants was to drill holes at the bottom for proper drainage. I then proceeded to places a single layer of rocks (so the potting mix doesn't flow out along with the water, added potting mix and then placed my plants into their new home. I'm very satisfied.

Great price, light weight, great size for larger trees.

Just remember to drill holes on the bottom.

They were shipped right away!

Good purchase indeed

I ordered 2 of the 16" barrel planters and one 21". The smaller planters arrived in fantastic shape and are far sturdier than the larger planter which arrived split down the side. After examining both sizes, I concluded they use the same thickness walls which are just too thin to support the larger sized planter.

Neither come with drainage holes, so be prepared to drill your own if you want them.

I'd not recommend the 21" size but the smaller sized planters are very good quality and economical and I would recommend them.

I was hesitant about buying planters that weren't ceramic because I think ceramic tends to hold up better and look nicer. But I couldn't find any cearamic planters at this size that were also a good price and looked nice. But I REALLY like these! I can't even tell that it isn't wood,I like how unique the coloring is. The fact that it looks nice and is plastic really works to my advantage, it's lighter to move around and I don't have to worry about them shattering. I plan on using these for as long as I can and perhaps buying some more for a whole row of annual flowers at some point.
