Product Description

Rocking, pivoting garden seat gives you a full range of motion for easier gardening. Nylon-covered, oversized contoured cushion sits on a curved base that tilts and swivels to move with you as you garden. This reduces strain on your lower back and knees. Seat is also height-adjustable. Six side storage pouches hold tools, seed packs, string and other garden accessories. Seat holds up to 250 lbs. Base is sturdy polypropylene. Built-in handle makes it easy to move from place to place.

Customer Reviews

Wish it could have been offered as gift-wrapped, though.

As you sit and reach/lean/twist/turn, the rocker moves with you, making it very easy to work in the garden, whether you are weeding or planting or whatever.

This garden rocker is lightweight, yet sturdy. It has a contoured seat kinda like the old tractor seats, which is very comfortable. The pad with pockets is very handy. Just be sure you stick your hand spade in the pocket point down, lol...I usually don't use the pockets much. I do however use the bottom section to hold my water.

I have never fallen over using this!! You would have to be quite careless to fall over. The base has angles so it will tip, but the bottom of the base is completely flat, and stable.

It has many advantages over the cart type scoots. For one it is lightweight. Some of those carts are heavy, not to mention take up a lot of storage space in the garage or shed. This does not take up much space and can easily even be hung on a hook, by the hand grip loop on the back.

It is also priced better than the alternatives, and you don't have to air up any tires.

The height is adjustable. I use the lowest setting for weeding, but it can adjust in four different positions, depending on the height of the person, or the height of the project.

We've given this several times as gifts(one person was a repairman), and everyone tells us how much they love theirs, and elaborates in detail! It is great for gardening, but also good for painting, washing the car, and the list goes on...

I highly recommend this, and would not be without one.

This was a great idea - as another user said, you do have to be careful not to lean backwards in it but what it is great for is just sitting down right in the middle of the garden or in an area that a garden cart would not fit properly. It is very light so easy to carry - I just wish I could find the cushion to purchase separately as mine did not come with it. However, even with no cushion it is comfortable.

Whoever came up with this idea is a genius. This seat allows you to lean in any direction without tipping over. I've seen other versions with no seat cushion/tool holder. This is definitely a great feature of this particular one. This was a gift for my mother-in-law and she just loves it!

I purchased the garden rocker a short time ago. I think it will be good in certain situations, but I also purchased a garden seat with wheels and think the garden rocker will be good for certain situations and the seat with wheels will be good for others. Before I would purchase it again, I would think about the garden seat with wheels. The rocker does tilt, but sometimes I find myself almost falling off backwards. Will have to get more use to it over time.

After a lot of research I decided to give this garden rocker a try. Now that I've used it, I wouldn't want to garden without it! It's very comfortable, at just the right height (you can easily adjust it up or down) and gives you a great range of motion without having to scoot it somewhere else all the time.

The Garden Rocker is a plastic seat that has a very slightly curved bottom. As you sit and reach/lean/twist/turn, the rocker moves with you, making it very easy to work in the garden, whether you are weeding or planting or whatever. It's very lightweight which makes it easy to pick up and carry and yet is sturdy enough to support a heavy person nearly 200 lbs with no problem (not gonna divulge my weight but let's just say the rocker holds up great despite it, lol). While it does move with you, it's not so tippy that it will dump you off in the dirt! When you need to move somewhere else, you can just lift yourself up a little and scooch it over. It's small enough to easily store in a garden shed or other similar area without taking up the space many other type of moveable garden seats would. You can even hang it up by the seat loop (if you have the cushion with pockets). I store mine with my gardening gloves and favorite garden tools resting in the bottom so I can just grab it all and go in a few seconds. It's a sturdy seat that I see lasting probably for the life of my gardening!

The seat itself is contoured to fit your bottom and doesn't dig into the bottom of your thighs and isn't too small for those of us who have a lot of back-end real estate. Mine came with a cushion, which I highly recommend for the extra comfort. The cushion is a medium layer of a compressed white foam type material with a cover that can come off and go into the washer.

I have used this for years and totally love it. I had knee surgery in college and can't squat or kneel comfortably but love to garden. I also volunteer to work in gardens. I find I can scoot it along my weeding path and love the longer reach I have. And it's great to be able to stick my hand tools in the pockets and have them at my fingertips rather than spending hours trying to remember where I set them down last.

It may be somewhat of a problem, to some of you, to keep your balance, but I'm a canoer and kayaker and am used to rocking my hips as I move to maintain stability and love the rocking which also keeps my back from tightening up.

I gave my original seat away when I started traveling but now am on-line to buy another so I can garden most days more efficiently, longer, and without back pain.

I'm over 70 and think this would be a wonderful gift for gardening friends that have reasonable balance.
