First of all, and I think most importantly, this Seller has integrity. The wrong solar lights arrived and they immediately apologized for shipping the wrong item and sent out the correct item. They didn't give instructions on what to do with the wrong item so we donated them to Habitat for Humanity Re-Store.

As for the product, not so full of integrity. While we were waiting for these two stainless solar lights, we saw black plastic ones at Lowe's for $4.99 each. We bought 4 of them (same price as two of the stainless ones here) and they work GREAT! Then the correct stainless solar lights arrived and they are not nearly as bright and many nights they don't work at all. Perhaps it is the rechargeable batteries or maybe the thin solar panel, but either way, the $4.99 Lowe's lights work much better and are lasting much longer. The stainless looks nicer, but lacks function.

At least the Seller did what they were supposed to do and the only reason we didn't return the lights is because of the shipping cost.

Have used for 2 yrs - They do work very well when placed in potted plants - shrubbery container - opened to rotate battery and have noticed that these in comparson to another set they have only place [metal connection] for one battery not two - Not sure if that would enhance the brightness or not. The Moonrays battery in them when purchased are very long lasting - now have ordered more Moonrays and a charger that charges the NiCd batteries required for these lights also -

Bought a Duracell charger and that only does the NiMh. So Ordered this

When I was taking the parts out of the box the stake that goes into the ground broke - yep just that flimsy. A piece sheared right off the main shaft. I could still use it but I had to be very careful. The light is not good for much except a path marker.
