5.0 out of 5 stars Organic manicotti!!
If you buy organic, then you will know how difficult it is to find out of the ordinary pastas, at least in my area. With an italian background, finding organic manicotti was such a treat! These pasta noodles are great tasting and long lasting. With a case of 12 it took some time to get through because I usually only make it for holidays or a special occasion. The last box...

2.0 out of 5 stars Garden Time Organic Semolina Manicotti, 7.5-Ounce Units (Pack of 12)
I was looking forward to the opportunity of purchasing Organic Manicotti Shells but unfortunately found they would split down the middle when filling. My experience wasn't successful--Not sure if it is the manicotti or the cook -- I am going to try again and shorten the cook time to see if there is an improvement.

The last box was as great as the first. I found that the pasta shells were pretty much whole maybe one or two in a couple of boxes were broken, but not unsalvageable(and that's out of a surprising 14 shells per box). I cook them for 4 minutes then remove them from the boiling water and place them in cool water. I use a sealable storage bag to stuff them by trimming about 3/4" to 1" off of one corner and gently squeezing the filling into the manicotti shell. Using plenty of sauce in the baking dish makes up for the short boiling time. They stay together and do not split while filling with this method. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to make a special dish more healthy! Enjoy!
