It's one of their best albums!

A "must-have" for all!

I like all the songs, my favourites are:
01 In Hundred Years [a masterpiece!]
02 Don't Let It Get You Down
03 Who Will Save The World? [containing rock elements]
07 Slow Motion
08 Locomotion Tango [so lucky that this song isn't in tango style]

P.S. Many fans consider this album to be their best in 1980s.

When Dieter was adding the final touches to this album, he was also working on his first solo project as BLUE SYSTEM (great first album by the way - it is called "Walking On A Rainbow"). Ithink that by doing this he affected Modern Talking's album by paying more attention to Blue System's one. The songs on "In The Garden Of Venus" are great though. I recommend 'A Telegram To Your Heart', 'Don't Loose My Number' and 'Who Will Save The World'. - Momad C.

You may not believe that 'In The Garden Of Venus' was realeased posthamusly in 1987, three months after Dieter Bohlen and Thomas Anders had split. The songs are simply great. The tracks -'In 100 Years', 'Locomotion Tango' and 'A Telegram To Your Heart' are upbeats. The only track I did not like was 'It's Christmas'. But that does'nt matter really.

"In 100yrs love is illegal" well they could be right! 100yrs is a great single but not no.2 material as it reached no1 only in one country. Locomotion Tango is a single that hasn't been spoken about at all !!! it is like it never existed! To me it is one of their greatest singles but it isn't included in any of the greatest hits albums and neither is 100yrs. This is the shortest album of Modern Talking with 32 minutes plus but I can't blame dieter as he was getting ready for the break up of Modern talking and welcoming Blue System as he released `Walking On A Rainbow' of blue system and `In The Garden Of Venus' of Modern Talking in 1987 (although `Walking On A Rainbow' came out before the 6th album of MT). This album is full of great songs and none are bad or boring, and it gives me great pleasure to give this album full 5 stars.

please, i am trying desperately to find one of their songs that goes "lucy worked a different job every day, though she put her mind to it, her heart was never in it. she stayed around just long enough to get paid...." i haven't heard this in over 5 years, and i am desperate to find it. if anyone knows, please do email me. thank you
