Being a big Disney fan, I had to check this book out. What a beautiful work of art. Peter Ellenshaw shows a whole other side to his talents. This man is mostly known as a Matte Artist for some of Disney's greatest movies. In this book, he shows some of his and the Disney family's favorite paintings. They are wonderful! There is also a (too) brief bio with Mr. Ellenshaw's roots and story line. His credits and awards are also listed. Though not a "Disney" book, this one is a must have for the true Disney fan. Very highly recommended. The paintings are so nicely done, my wife thought they were pictures.

Peter Ellenshaw's art is incredible! The only thing wrong with this book is that it is not over-sized, but at least I can enjoy the book regularly. Seeing some of the originals at the Powell Street Gallery in San Francisco fills the gap. Mr. Ellenshaw knows how to place a paint stroke that lets the viewer's eye fill in the detail.

I saw his paintings in San Francisco at the Powell Street Gallery and had to buy this book! It is a wonderful chronicle of his amazing life and body of work. A must have for art lovers and Disney fans alike!

I bought this book after seeing his artwork on [a website]. I really enjoyed this book. I even bought more to give as gifts. His biography was fascinating and the images of his art are great. I highly recommend this book.
