First encountered (and started using) Gardena products 15 years ago while living in Europe. The Gardena products are very common in Britain/Europe; available wherever gardening supplies are sold. The "quick-on"/"quick-off" hose attachments work very well. They save a lot of time and frustration in making/breaking connections. Light weight(but heavy duty) plastic. Seals on the "male" accessories are provided by an "O" rings every four or five years these might need replacing; available for 25 cents at any good hardware.

I didn't even know such things existed. I'm thrilled with this! (and the other parts I purchased)
It does get a little annoying when it gets dirt in it, but otherwise performing perfectly!
