To beat it all, the connections leak because you can't get them tight enough and this hose pinches just as often as traditional ones.

After two and a half years of very light use in a mild climate, the connectors pulled off both ends of the hose, pouring water everywhere, and could not be reattached.

This kind of failure is not common with Gardena products --I wonder if they're starting to use plastics from China or even make some parts there?

Does not state length of hose or the size and the product description is ambiguous at best. The hose is 1/2" (13mm) and is 150cm (appx. 5' long). The only way to see the length and hose diameter is to enlarge the picture (1.5m).
Comes with fittings on both ends.

I bought the entire thing, the cart, the hose and the connector hose. After assembly, which was a shot in the dark thanks to limited instructions, my purchase was missing two major pieces, a nozzle and the cart stand but the manufacture never returned my inquires. Even if it had the cart stand it would be pretty worthless as I have to hold press the cart against the wall with one hand and two knees (quite the image) to get enough leverage for the reel handle to work. Then I had to buy an additional hose because a standard connection wont fit through the hose guide. THEN the connector hose (from cart to spigot) fell apart within two years of use so now I'm supposed to spend more money which, according to reviews for this part, probably won't work!

To beat it all, the connections leak because you can't get them tight enough and this hose pinches just as often as traditional ones. The only plus to this product is the quick release which allows you to switch out nozzles and hoses without having to turn off the water from the spigot.

ADDITIONAL NOTES: I was able to take apart hose connection and reattach hose fairly easy. Seems a firm fix, will update if that changes. This prompted me to move my review from 2 stars to 3.

I have been a big fan of any and all Gardena products for 20 years-they're well-made and functional. This product, however, turned out to be a disappointment. After two seasons of use as a connection between a faucet and an irrigation system, the coupling gave way (spewing enough water to flood my backyard before anyone noticed). In principle, I should have been able to fix it by shoving the hose end back onto the prongs and tightening the coupling, but this didn't work--even with the hose all the way onto the prongs (not easy!) and the nut tightened as far as it would go, the hose kept slipping out of the connector when the water was turned on. This kind of failure is not common with Gardena products --I wonder if they're starting to use plastics from China or even make some parts there?

I purchased a Gardena reel with hose last year and realized the connector hose that came with the reel was a little too short so I ordered this as an extension. After some research I discovered that the adaptor to connect the two hoses are not the same ones used to connect sprinklers, spray nozzles, etc. - you need to purchase a different adaptor - this one: Gardena 32931 Garden Extension Joint

Originally there was a small but noticeable leak between the two connector hoses but after I purchased the above adaptor and connected the two hoses with it there have been no more leaks - there's a solid seal.

I've used the hose reel, hose, and this connector hose since last year without any issues. I'm back now to buy a second one so I can move the hose reel a little farther away from the spigot.

After two and a half years of very light use in a mild climate, the connectors pulled off both ends of the hose, pouring water everywhere, and could not be reattached. I had to throw it all away. I see that other reviewers here had the same problem. I've had no problems with any other Gardena product.
