Netting is spaced about 4 or 5 inches apart. Farther than I thought. Also, netting is very thin strands. But, it should work fine for beans and such.

I used to build my own trellis by making a square 6 feet by 6 feet then hammering nails every 12 inches and then attaching string to those nails vertically and horizontally. That is until I found this netting - now its a pleasure getting my vegetable garden ready.

We wanted something to keep tomatoes off the ground. This netting did the job perfectly. The tomatoes climbed the netting with hardly any help from us.

This item works great. It's a lot easier to work with than the steel wire I had been using. As for those who complain that it is not strong enough, the trick is to sink three 7' or 8' metal fence posts, run a 1/4" nylon rope from post to post at the top and then attach the netting to the posts and the rope. The rope should go beyond the outer posts and then be angled down to a stake driven into the ground. Then the rope is pulled taut and tied around the stakes. The rope carries the weight of the plants. See this video: [...]

I wish I had ordered the netting earlier. It worked well for me, but I believe it will work better for me next summer. I received my order quickly and it was well packaged.
Thank you,
Kim

This worked great for my snow peas. I will use it again next season. It works best on a vegetable that is not heavy.

The Dalen Gardeneer 5' x 15' Trellis Netting worked perfectly in our square foot garden. It's too early in the growing season to know how much weight the netting will support, but we have the netting tied to 4' w x 5' H trellis supports (1/2" electrical conduit for our Tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, summer squash, peas (and we hope cantaloupe and small watermelons. Thanks Amazon for connecting us to Dalen Gardeneer.

I received my netting quickly, however there were a few holes in the netting when I unravelled it to install. I could have contacted the seller for a replacement, but my snap peas and cucumbers were climbing quickly... so I had no choice but to make do and ignore the section with large holes at the edge. Ok quality, but I find this product is worth about $3-5, not the asking price online.

The nylon netting looks like it's heat treated to bond each cross-section of the netting together. It seems some of the intersecting lines were not held down long enough to bond or they were barely joined to one another.
