Book Description

February 3, 2012
This historic book may have numerous typos and missing text. Purchasers can download a free scanned copy of the original book (without typos) from the publisher. Not indexed. Not illustrated. 1868. Think of that six miles of road made in one day by volunteers, under the ever active and inspiring energy of that great man Sir J. Sinclair. A quotation from the article in the ' Scottish Gardener' will explain all that we can say, up to certain details which it is not easy to explain in writing; but I shall add a few details, which I trust will meet the case of our Thurso friend; and if they do no...
