They've done it again.,

Passion. How many artists are lacking passion ? Or lose it as their careers advance ? Well, not Eve, Lisa, or Andrea. This a great album -- that gives me the same goose bumps and tears --like I am experiencing them on stage again. Few artists can find the magic to reach you across your stereo and grip your heart or your funny bone. Definitely a heartfelt rendition of their life experiences. From the spiritual journey that Eve took that led her to write "Every living thing is vulnerable" to Andrea's work with homeless people in "Borrowed Clothes" and all of their experiences as educators/school teachers in "Look away" (very wonderful, meaningful tune! ). Looks like their message will go on -- even when not in the classroom. Thank you for such a wonderful piece of work! Support the arts today, don't wait. Go to their website or buy it here.

Folk Rock Grrrls at their BEST!,
By
This review is from: Gardener (Audio CD)
These Berkeley grrls will rock the house, then bring you to tears over the course of this well written, well produced, and well sung collection. They come through as strongly recorded as they do on stage. Don't miss out on this one, especially if you are a fan of An DiFranco and her style of folksy, sometimes jammin music with a conscience.

Five Star Song Writing,
This review is from: Gardener (MP3 Download)
As an avid reader I love good poetry. These women can write like Shakespeare and sing like angels. While at work I heard a song off this album directly after some pop song about love by a famous diva, and the contrast between which one was more down-to-earth and real was so strong. I give this album five stars for "a good message", five stars for brilliant song writing, and five stars for the quality of music overall.

Right-on politics, beautiful harmonies, touching lyrics and awesome guitar playing!!! If you haven't heard this Berkley-based queer feminist folk trio play, do so immediately! It's one of the best folk cds I've heard in a while (and I listen to a lot of indy folk music!). Really, it's that good!

Power, moving, and inspirational,
By World Music Fan "Scott" (Los Angeles, CA) - See all my reviews

This trio of musicians know what is it rock (folk rock) with a voice and a message. There is a lot of music out there today, but nothing more soulful and powerful then this band.
Have a listen you'll discover how inspirational and aspiration they are and there music is to you and you're life. This is just one of their many CD's that they've done... oh, and if you have the chance see this band perform live... You've never seen a performance like Rebecca Riots.

Fabulous!,

Gardener is wonderful there is no doubt about it Rebecca Riots is only getting better! Their first 2 albums are wonderful,.... but this album although not a drastic change of pace is however moving in to some new sounds with new insterments and some guest musicians on a few of the tracks. Their personalities shine through in both their lyrics and music. The lyric are so expressive and ture. I just cant say enough about this album or this band!
