Bearing a beautiful grapevine design on its legs, this 50-inch outdoor bench looks like red granite but actually is made of recyclable polyethylene and weighs less than 20 pounds. That means it's easy to move from sun to shade as the mood strikes. It's rugged, however, and won't crack or chip. (It carries a 10-year warranty against breaking and chipping.) Because the polyethylene includes UV stabilizers the color won't fade in the sun. Nor will cold and rain harm the bench. It stands 18 inches high, and the gently curved seat is 19 inches wide, ample enough--and strong enough--to accommodate two adults. This garden bench is everything I wanted and more. Its light grey, looks like the real thing and is a great addition to my newly landscaped area. I am very pleased, BUT, there are a few rough edges were the resin is not smooth. I had to reorder and to my surprise, the second bench was worse and the color was slightly different. I kept the first one and haven't seen a bench that tops it (even with a few rough edges).

I am so pleased with this product. It exceeds my expectations. The quality of the resin product is great; looks for all the world like the "real" thing. It is very attractive and also comfortable seating space. I filled (only the two legs) with water and that offers all the weight needed to stabilize the bench, yet it is not so heavy that it cannot be moved. I would highly recommend this product to others.

Bench is not Red Granite in color,

I was looking for the mixed reddish color of red granite. There is a small amount of red when you look at the bench in the sunlight. It looks more like a light gray granite. It is light and easy to move around - maybe a little light for outside in the garden. It is sturdy enough to sit on.
