Sidereal vs. Tropical,
This review is from: Gardening and Planting By the Moon (Paperback)
The planting guidelines in this book are attuned to the sidereal zodiac instead of the tropical zodiac used in most almanacs. This will prove confusing to many moon gardeners. There is some evidence that plants respond to the sidereal zodiac whereas people and animals respond more readily to the tropical zodiac. If you'd like to experiment with this theory, this book is an easy to follow guide. Also consider In Tune with the Moon 2012 from Findhorn Press. Their theory is that plants respond best when the sidereal and tropical zodiacs overlap. This is not the book for almanac followers, but offers lots of excellent background information on planting with the moon. Also, the book is primarily for those growing vegetable gardens without much info for those who are flower gardeners. |
