Great design, great woodworking, cheap hardware and details,

This chaise lounge had just the design we wanted, and was at a price point below the most expensive teak lounges, but was more upscale than cheaper ones or ones using different woods. We also bought a round teak table to go with it. The woodworking and carpentry were excellent, however the hardware was cheap, the bolts were stripped and the holes that were drilled in the wood to attach the different parts of the lounge together did not match up. In fact, they weren't just a little off, my husband had to "re-drill" holes that were over 1/4 inch off - one was 3/8 inches off.We called the company to complain, and they are shipping us new hardware.... |
