Nice watering can. Classic design. 1 gallon capacity, a piece of information which should have been included in the Amazon listing, but isn't. I got the bright blue one, so I can always find it in the garden after I have absent-mindedly set it down.

After receiving this I was shocked how small a 1 gallon watering can actually is (I have always had 2 gallon cans) Sounds silly but it is amazing the difference between a 1 gallon can and a 2 gallon can...
That said it feels light but sturdy and is a very attractive pretty blue color, much easier to fill the can than other cans I have had and it seems to pour very well, a nice steady flow and a full soft shower versus some of the cheaper cans where it all comes out uneven in a few holes
I hope it will prove to be much sturdier and last longer than the plastic cans...I am worried about the size as in the past I have toted around two 2 gallon cans at a time when watering
If you do not have much to water this is a very nice watering can and he you want something lighter this is even better
UPDATE: Been two years now and still going strong..good little watering can! Happy with my purchase..
Oh seeing the review above me complaining about size, now has me wondering about actual water holding size...Guess I will have to measure it myself day

We started a container garden in our "yard" this last spring. My 3 year old daughter was fascinated with gardening. She loved planting seeds and getting dirty so much that fairies left her a full set of little girl sized gardening tools, including this watering can, for her to discover.
Sturdy metal with a powder coat paint finish and not too heavy for a little girl to carry small distances. I would recommend it.
