Gardman Planter Tree Stand w/ Four 12" Hanging Baskets

I have found this planter to be an excellent choice for hanging plants on my deck. It is sturdy and nice looking, and the planters that come with it are of excellent quality. The only problem I had was in the assembly. It would be good if the company would include a statement in the directions to the effect that, as all the support pieces (4) have to be put together with two long bolts, it is essential to make sure all the holes are lining up on the center pieces before trying to bolt the stand together. It is possible to get one or more of those center pieces upside down as they will go together either way. Love the stand!

Each "leg" or side of this stand is actually 3 pieces. It is so poorly designed that it is truly not very stable once put together. We have a similar stand we bought and on it each leg is one solid piece and the curves at the bottom are wide enough that it is extremely stable. Shame on Gardman for designing this piece of fecal matter... and shame on Hocking Valley for selling it to customers. If I factor in my time and then the 15% restocking fee and return shipping costs its not even worth sending back.... so I just got ripped off for80 bucks. Nice. Neither Gardman or Hocking Valley will ever see any further business from me. I doubt I ever again order anything from Amazon that is not being sold by Amazon. At least I've always had good treatment from them.... but shame on Amazon for letting companies put cheap crappy merchandise like this on their website. I can't believe anyone gave this a 5 star rating unless they have something to do with Gardman or Hocking Valley. This thing is truly a junk pile.

Product is not easy to put together and not all parts were included. The directions Were in very small print and not easy to understand. Holes didnt match up. Was sent a second and that too was defective.
