Very disappointing. I considered several texts before choosing this one. It looked wonderful in the preview (NO SAMPLE was provided... which maybe should have told me something). But when I downloaded it the main text did not display; only a few scraps of letters like a defective PDF. I tried to download again. Same defect.

I can't believe that Wadsworth, the publishers, were so careless as to release a Kindle version that does not work on the Kindle platform that best displays the graphics in this book (while charging almost the same price as the paper brick)!

Downloaded it without reading the reviews I know that's my fault but I needed it for class at the moment so I paid and for what? Pictures high quality but the whole point of an etextbook is to give us the texts in it . Words and letters just scattered around I really wish I can get my money back

When i paid for, and opened up the book, the words are scattered around the pages. It legitimately looks like nonsense. I am very upset with this order. I would not recommend this book. I have nothing against the book itself. The electronic edition itself is glitched, there is no way possible to make out words on the page.

I purchased this for an art history class, but it has become a prized member of my personal library. It's full of rich information, well-organized, and enjoyable to study or browse. An insightful introduction to the subject - I will treasure this book forever.

Excellent book. On line content is great and easy to navigate on ipad and laptop. Only downside is the glossy pages are sometimes hard to read due to glare. Book is really heavy, but it contains a wealth of information.

Excellent book, beautifully presented. The photographs are wonderful, the information is detailed and interesting, and the timelines are very useful. The only down side is the weight, it is VERY heavy.

Great art history book. Tons of pictures, easy to read, they actually tried to make it sound modern rather than completely droll like most history books of any sort.
